Prayer Timing for Fajr (Morning Prayer)
We pray this Salah at dawn. It is the first obligatory prayer of the day. Our beloved Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “Two Rakahs of prayer before the Fajr (Fardh) prayer are better than the world and whatever is in it.”

Prayer Timing for Dhuhr
We pray this Salah in the early afternoon. It is the second obligatory prayer. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said regarding Dhuhr prayer:
“This is an hour at which the gates of heaven are opened, and I like that my good deeds should rise to heaven at that time.” (Tirmidhi).
In our busy routine and hectic lives, we often neglect religious obligations, but one must find time to offer at least the obligatory prayers.
Prayer Timing for Asr
In one of the hadiths, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:
“He who observes Al-Bardan (i.e. Fajr and Asr prayers) will enter Jannah.” (Bukhari)
Asr is the third obligatory prayer and we pray it in the late afternoon. Fajr and Asr are prayers beloved to God and it is assumed that the one who skips or misses these intentionally, it is like he has lost his health, wealth and family.
Prayer Timing for Maghrib
The fourth prayer of the day is Maghrib and we pray it when the sunsets. Its time ends when the redness in the sky has vanished from the western horizon.
Almighty Allah showers His blessings upon the person who prays Maghrib Salah and offers it on time. We must consider that when a person prays Maghrib, wealth and goodness in the family is rewarded to him.
Prayer Timing in Cairo for Isha
The fifth obligatory prayer is Isha. We offer it at night.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Whoever offers Isha salah in Jama’ah it is as though he spent half the night in worship. And whoever offers fajr salah in Jama’ah it is as though he spent the entire night in worship.” (Muslim)

Al-Azhar Mosque
It is located at El-Darb El-Ahmar, Cairo Governorate, Egypt. There is a capacity of 20,000 people to pray.
Jummah Prayer Significance and Timing
“O you who believe! When the call to prayer is proclaimed on Friday hasten earnestly to the remembrance of God and leave aside business. That is best for you if you but knew.” (Quran 62:9)
The obligatory prayer Jummah is of great importance for Muslims. Our religion Islam has emphasized greatly on the importance of Jummah prayer. A person who prays Jummah and prays it with the congregation is always under the blessings of Allah Almighty.
